I just started working with some SFIC Goats Milk base. I've never worked with it before so I decided to try it. Has anyone noticed it's a softer base than their Shea Butter Base or is it just me? Am I imagining this???? Any input would help me ease my fears that my brain is slowly (or quickly) eroding! Thanks!

Hi TXSoaper.

I use both SFIC Shea and Goat and I've never really noticed a difference when molding our pouring it. It's possible that when you cut it, it may have some sense of being different but when it's all melted and used I see no difference. However I think when I use it in my shower -- each may lather a bit differently but then again I'm always just sniffing the soap so much I don't realize what I'm using and enjoy it all!!

Your brain is not eroding.
