Hi everyone. It's been awhile -hope you all have been well. I've been heads down the last few weeks making soap for an event I just had - but that is for another topic in mp....

I purchased this fragrance - not sure what I was thinking -->

NG April Clean fragrance is reminiscent of Downy April Fresh. The aroma of fresh powder, light musk, and just a hint of fresh spring flowers of lavender, jasmine, and tulips.

I havn't completed decided on the design - but I had in mind a layered soap maybe with a light lavender layer color and light pink layer and maybe some bold pink? color with white in between. Here's a link to a morning glory design so you know the direction I'm talking about http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?li ... d=43562656

And my next show is not until April 24th and with kids just about ready for spring break I don't know if I'll have time to make someting and post online earlier here in April. So therefore I don't want to use "April" in the name.

Any ideas so the name itself can cary through April and May...
Thanks,
Hilary

Layered soap with those colors sounds nice. How about April Showers bring May Flowers?

How about "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" so you can use it all year 'round?

(baby powder + spring flowers makes me think of little girls and babies.)

Thank you both for your input. And great ideas - I just love the varying directions when it comes to color and fragrance one can take your imagination. I'm going to let all this percolate as I'm finishing up a project of 35 baby shower favors just before spring break - that was my self imposed deadline since the person doesn't need them until Sunday. Which Frimfram - it's funny that you mention "little girls" becuase I'm going to have some of the soap from this loaf left over (the favors are ~2.2ish oz) and I was going to cut the last 1/2 of the loaf into 4.0 oz (not to many soaps from what is left but worthy of selling of course) and sell at the fair emphasizing those ones as baby shower gifts calling it "Baby Boy Blue" or now perhaps "Thank Heaven for LIttle Boys" but I did't have a matching companion for the girls - so maybe I'll do one loaf and 1/2 be the companion of "Baby Girl Pink" of "Thank Heavans for Little Girls" - Ponder Ponder... back to work on what is pressing.
Thanks
