Hi there. I have made several batches of different soap varieties, although still fairly new to the whole thing. I'm noticing that my bars look beautiful on the outside (don't even really get soda ash and they are smooth and firm on the outer perimeter), but when I slice them I keep seeing bumps appear. I don't think they are bubbles. I've been able to use the bars and they don't seem harsh at all and I don't see any accumulation of lye inside the bumps. The whole inside of the soap also stays a much darker color than the perimeter, although it does get very hard over time. I've read that I might need to increase the temp by 10 degrees. Could these two things be related, or are they different? What can I do to get rid of the bumps and get the inside to be just as light as the outside? signed...Soap-me-silly
