I wouldn't do it, due to the reaction of alcohol and lye. If you want the therapeutic properties of the witch hazel I would suggest a lotion or a cream. Soap is a wash off product, it doesn't stay on the skin long enough to get the properties of the witch hazel.

The only time I've used witch hazel is with my sea salt soap. I added witch hazel to the salts and then added at trace.
