Teach Soap

If you've seen the photos on the new Cold Process Thread touting creations, well you've seen I have a boat load of CP soaps in the testing dishes!

Well I didn't share a photo of my MandP testing dishes. I've made some CP and a lot of M and P soaps.

I cannot really tell the difference in CP and MandP soaps when they hit the water and I lather them up. Their textures feel the same after 2 months, they look practically identical. Some more creamy some more bubbly, but really no huge different in texture, weight, look or cleansing bubbles. Are they chemically different and how would one know.

How do you tell the difference between CP and MandP really?

I can tell the difference by feel as well. I find M&P more slippery and it doesn't last as long it my shower. CP feels like a sturdier bar of soap and last much longer. Plus I love the smooth feel but it isn't slippery.

Thanks for your responses. I'm trying to feel the difference so I'm studying it. I think the MandP feel harder to my hand and the cp softer somehow.
