Teach Soap

I've been designing and printing my own soap labels for quite some time now. I haven't even looked into having soap labels printed by someone else, because I thought it would just be too expensive, but if anyone out there has any information where I can purchase "stick on" soap labels (I shrink wrap my soap 1st), for a reasonable price, I would be most grateful. I'm just making way too much soap now, and the labeling part has become very labor intensive & all time consuming. Thanks, Joanne

Have you tried Avery labels? You can print just one or a whole sheet. There are also companies online that you can purchase their label sheets from at a better rate.

I agree with soapbuddy - avery labels- available like at Staples, Office Max. They have the sofeware available on like for you to do the label design. It was easy to use, even for someone computer handicapped like me.

Thanks guys! I just went to onlinelabels.com and I can get 5000 stick on labels (500 sheets/10 per sheet) of the White Matte Oval Avery Labels for about $64.95. Then, of course, I have to design & print them, but I think this is the cheapest way to go. I'm just not at the level of soapmaking that I can afford to order "custom labels" for that much soap!!!::)) I think I was hoping for a miracle!!:) LOL Joanne

1400 lablels for $22 including shipping. Comes with a downloadable format in MS Word for printing. Plus they're not removable like a lot of the Avery ones are. I used Avery for a while but kept having a problem with the corners peeling up because they're removable. The ones I get from onlinelabels come 14 to a sheet and 100 sheets to a package.

Thanks for the tip about the Avery Oval Labels. In fact, I was thinking of ordering some samples 1st, because I was concerned about that very thing. So, thank you for that!
And, thank you for the other advice about 1400 labels for $22.00. I'll check that out!

justkate, do you think you could share the info on which labels you are buying from onlinelabels.com? I have been searching their site, over & over, and can't find the 1400 (100 sheets/14 to a sheet) for $22.00.

Possibly me. I've been using those for about 4 years now. I used to buy the Avery but they would always peel because most of theirs are removable. And the Avery would always smudge on me if I touched the printed part.
