Teach Soap

Hi. I just made a batch of CP cupcakes using the BB cream cheese frosting fragrance. The fragrance smells yummy in the jar, but smells blah in the soap. I even added a bit more to see if that would help. It has kind of a plastic-y smell. Please tell me that this fragrance develops as it cures!

I can't speak to that fragrance specifically but I have tried several "sweeter" fragrances that smelled strange or were very weak at the start and after a week or two the scent improved and got much better after 4 weeks. I learned by experimenting and hearing people on here say it often enough that sometimes patience solves the "problems" with my soaps.

I don't have this one either, but give it a couple of weeks, then smell the soaps again. Sometimes the fragrance changes as the soap cures.

I hope thats so. Im soaping with BBs Herbal Essence today and it dosen't smell like I expected in the bottle.

I have used some in MP only and it didn't mutate and was like OOB. I would let the CP settle in a few weeks.
