Teach Soap

Thank you for the compliments. I was happy with the way my cut photo turned out as sometimes my photos don't come out the way I'd like them too.

Here's the soap I made last night...it's a Cherry and Champagne FO blend I made and I used the Red Blue lip safe mica from BB. Sadly my stove melted the plastic container 10 minutes later when we warmed up dinner, so now half of the mica is in a little tupperware container.

That's a pretty color frimfram! Can I ask where you got that cool mold?

I got it on ebay, but apparently the soap mold manufacturer is from California, although I haven't found it yet. The ebay store is called favorsandmolds.

yeah, on the molds it says northridge, ca. I found out they have an ebay account too, conceptsincandy but the molds come out to be more expensive because the shipping is slightly higher (even though the shipping option is parcel post) and I live in CA, too, and so they charge sales tax. Soapbuddy also lives in CA, too, right? So I think the New Jersey store (the one I ordered from) ends up being cheaper.

You have to request a total from the seller after checkout. They have to manually calculate the discount for you. I ordered a bunch of molds and each additional mold was 75 cents shipping.

Those cupcakes look fantastic! But when I tried the molding putty it was a little too firm I thought to try to cover something as soft as a cupcake. How did you do this? I would love to know how to work with the putty better.
