Teach Soap

I love making M&P soaps, but there's one thing I've noticed I don't quite get. I really miss soap that makes a good lather. Is there something I'm not adding? Is it brand/type of M&P dependent? Or is M&P just not that lathery?

I get lots of lather from mine. It's from BrambleBerry. What type and where did you get yours?

SLS is normally what kicks up the lather, so if you're using an MP base without it, then you're probably having a reduced amount of lather. That being said, the shea butter MP base from BB that I'm using has good lather, and is SLS free.

This might sound strange, but I think you should just wet your hands pick up the soap and rotate it a few more times than a store bought bar. You should gets loads of lather and bubbles I sure do and just from BB standard m and p.

I'm using Something Fabulous. It's from our Hobby Lobby. I might try Bramble Berry's next pay check. It doesn't matter how long I try it just won't form any decent lather. . . Thanks for the advice

That Hobby Lobby stuff is pretty bad. Save it to clean around the house. Get yourself a better base.
