First time to the forum and need some help! Was working a project a few days ago and trying to use some gel clings & stickers as embeds in my soap bars...problem is the embeds wanted to float up. I had poured soap into the mold, let it cool, placed the embed (after spraying with alcohol) and then attempted to finish the pour. Embed kept floating to the surface...what did I do wrong?

Thanks!

It sounds like what you wanted to embed was too light (in weight). I'm not sure what you can do to remedy that.

Good luck.

You can use just a light layer of MP soap to act like glue. Once it is in place then pour your final layer... not too hot though or it will just melt the 'glue'. :D
