I just made my first two soaps ever!

The first one didn't turn out great, but it looked nice after I cut it up and poured plain white around it.

:shock: Wow there are some awesome new soaps! I must say that I' love the dinosaur ones, they rule! :mrgreen:

I've come to redeem myself. Most of you have probably seen the boob/rose ( :roll: ) soaps on the Tragedies thread, well here's my new improved roses for Mother's Day:

I've included one of the boobs (top left) as a comparison, however, it definitely looks more like a rose now that it's among the other soaps!

The rose soaps are cute but I didn't see your tragic boob thread. Now that you mentioned that I can see how they might look like that (LOL). The newer ones are pretty and I'm sure they smell great.

PurpleMolly, I love your new soaps! I like chunk bars -- they're so much fun. You never quite know how they're going to look until you cut them, so it's usually a nice, pretty surprise!

Love your OMH bar, too. Looks like the bubble wrap to make the honeycomb pattern is working out nicely ... :D

Thank you jrose! The only problem I have is that I keep poking the soap to see if it's set because I'm so impatient to see how the "chunk" look in the slices!!!
I was pleased with the bubblewrap effect too - with the oatmeal in the soap too it looks quite rustic!!
