Teach Soap

I make this coffee soap <very popular in Berkeley when I am at a fair because it includes Peets ground in one layer> - I still need to add coffee fragrance to the soap.

I've used two different vendors - one local <brick and mortar store> - and hers is called "Columbian Coffee" - not sure who are main supplier is. It works. Once I ordered one "Java Jolt" from Go Planet that I think in my mind was actually better than the one I can get at the retail shop. Sometimes when I really just want to smell a fragrance I go local because by the time I order and pay shipping --> sometimes it's a wash.

I'm just wondering if there might be another coffee fragrance I'm missing out on because I don't know about it. Any input would be great.

It's not a straight coffee scent, but BB's Turkish Mocha is pretty fantastic - definitely cream-&-sugar coffee, with a bit of cocoa & spice lurking...

I tried Southern Soapers' Cuban Coffee Bean & it's disappointing - very burnt & harsh

I second BB's Turkish Mocha--- I use it straight with 1/2 oz finely ground coffee beans and use it as a kitchen sink/ gardeners soap. It removes garlic and onion smells, but I discovered that most of my goatmilk soaps do anyway... it still makes a selling point! It will turn your soap deep brown but the scent holds.

I had read somewhere once where someone renamed herTurkish Mocha soaps Johnny Depp !

I've used BB's Espresso blend FO. It accelerates trace like a mother but has a true dark, rich coffee scent. Haven't tried the Turkish Mocca yet though.

coffee soap. my fragrance blend using a of a batch of espresso beans for the water/lye part and a patchouli/amber essential oil. It smells more like chocolate than any thing else, but I have noticed many people enjoy soap as a drawer freshener before using the soap for its intended purpose...
But on the economical side...I have used dried coffee grounds for "shop hands".
