That's a great story Mella - and I think you're right - would probably not happen these days. I knew you were joking but I was serious!! It would be so, so nice to have soaps whizzing around the world, everyone from one side of the globe to the other receiving surprise soaps just so they could appreciate each others work first hand ... perhaps we should start up a global soap exchange!!!!

Nothing exciting here and I should probably be posting in the Tragedy thread (lol), but it was a new project and my first soap in a loooong time. Got my BB package yesterday and made a honey base bar with the oatmeal, milk and honey fo in the honeycomb mold. I got a little impatient waiting for my soap to cool down before pouring and thought I'd add in some oatmeal and almonds.

Well, I should've chopped the almonds a million times finer AND I should've either stirred it in more or added a thin layer of soap over the top. Ah well!

So my little guy turns 8 tomorrow and is having a dinosaur party on Saturday, so I made these soaps for the bathrooms.

these are really nice redfishingirl. my son would love this.
