Teach Soap

I have started making my own cold process soaps,...and all have turned out nicely so far thanks to my recent order from BRAMBLEBERRY...which I LOVE, and lots of research I have done.....!
I'm hoping to post pictures soon of all my new soaps....

Anyway...on to my question...LOL

If I were to sell soaps and candles that I am making at my local Farmers Market, do I have to get a Business License FIRST?..Can anyone help
me with that?...Also I'd love to hear how others label or package their cold process soaps,....??

Each state has different requirements. I would check with your local city hall to find out the business requirements in your city and state. You will definitely need insurance.

You can also just check with your local farmer's market people. They usually have a list of what they require---- vendor's license, insurance against injury resulting from a "malfunctioning" booth, ( not all places require this ) etc.

Packaging----- the sky's the limit! It's really up to you as to how much you want to spend on it.
