Teach Soap

Hi everyone

All day I have been trying to get the formula right for bath jelly, basically I've been doing 1 part M&P soap to 2 parts water and gelatin. That didn't work, it was too hard. So I did 1 part M&P to 4 parts water and gelatin. This time is came out softer but not very jelly like

I am wondering if I'm putting it too much gelatin? I'm adding it by what it recommends on the packet but maybe I should make some allowance for the M&P going hard aswell.

Does anyone have any ideas or maybe a recipe to point me in the right direction? I don't want to use liquid soap only M&P and I think this is my problem

I knew I remembered seeing something like this, and I just found it. This recipe uses MP soap but it uses something different to gelatin. Hope it helps a bit http://www.aussiesoapsupplies.com.au/Ba ... -p-88.html

I think that is about the consistancy of my last batch so maybe I am doing it right and was expecting too much 'wibble wobble' from using M&P. I might make one more batch with more water and slightly less soap and see how it goes. Thanks again!
