Teach Soap

There is a little store here that sells some FO's and EO's, and since I'm a bit of a 'I need it NOW' type of person I gave them a call to see if their FO's can be used in CP soaping. They said yes, so I made a trip (it's about 45 mins from where I live) and bought an assortment of things I wanted to try. I came across a chocolate FO and since I had some cocoa butter I wanted to use with it, I bought a bottle of it.

I used about .5oz/lb, but the scent disappeared. It was the first FO I tried from the place so I thought maybe none of the FO's were for soap- but since then I've used several others with great results. So my long winded question is this- should I try it at a higher use rate? Is chocolate FO notorious for this? My soap smells a little chocolate-y but it's a morphed scent... do you think it's from not having enough FO or do you think it'll just morph again?

Some FO's need to be used at a higher percentage. I normally use mine at 0.7 PPO.
