Hi folks!

I've had requests for loofah embedded soaps so I've been trying it out. One problem... the loofahs in my neck of the woods are gigantic (very big around.) I've ordered from BB & shopped locally as well. Lovely loofahs.... just too large for my project. I live rather remotely so I'll need to order them online. But I need smaller sized loofahs.

Any suggestions?

I always check BB first. If they don't have them well I did pick some up at a Michaels crafting store, proper size for soaps. I believe they have an online presents.

you can also grind up the loofa to put in soap. And you can grow it at home.just a thought

yes, i was just going to say you can actually grow your own lufa. it's actually a vegetable.

I bought some loofahs from WSP to do the same thing. One or two were slightly large so I soaked them in water for awhile then squished them into my PVC tube mold and let them dry for a day before making the soap and pouring. Worked GREAT!

I'd like to try growing my own too.

saya juga loofah soap.i stay malaysia near thailand. i buy the small loofah in bangkok thailand.if u want i can give the contact nunber.its very cheap.just 0.5 USD.

the 99 cents store has loofas in all different sizes, if there's a store nearby you, it might be worth checking out!
