Thanks soapbuddy....I've read through all the comments and too impatient to wait. I'm hoping that since it's mostly table salt
with only a few ounces of epsom that it will be ok...fingers crossed anyway. Everything is measured out and on the counter waiting
for kids to go to bed so I can have uninterrupted time (something that doesn't usually exist here). Scrounged out the molds for the
test bars and good to go! Will post how things go in a bit.

So far so good except for the fragrance...used coconut lime and you can barely smell it. How do you
get 2 colours? Tried colouring the soap with half the salt in but it still ended up one colour. Any
suggestions would be appreciated. Tomorrow i buy regular table salt and double the recipe! Can't wait
-- thinking these will be going in a few stockings.. will try mango papaya tomorrow!!

Update: Even though there was only 3 ounces of epson salts and the rest regular salt the bars are still a little tacky.
Can smell the fragrance a little better now. Not complaining..my fault for being
impatient and not waiting till I had enough salt tomorrow. Still will work great
in the shower!! Thanks for the awesome recipe!!!!

I am keen to try the salt bars you're all raving on about. After thoroughly browsing the BB website for the Foaming Bath Butter you've used in the recipe, I could only find a kit to purchase that came with the instructions for making "Basic Foaming Bath Butter Instructions". As I don't want to buy the whole kit just for some instructions, is someone able to tell me how to make the Foaming Bath Butter? Are we allowed to share this kind of information?

Hi AvalonElizabeth! I don't know, but after reading this thread I am going to be on the phone in the morning trying to find out! I was so waiting for someone to know the answer to your question as I could not find it either, but found references to it on BB site. This soap sounds really neat!

I too encountered this problem a few months back when I found this awesome recipe, but could not get any FBB from BB. I ended up finding another distributor. But since then I have also used the CPOP method. Why not give that a shot? Its fun.

I have just fixed the links to my photos on the first page. I still make these occasionally and I am able to buy the FBb here in Australia at a BB supplier. if you google suppliers here you will find it and the USD is better than the Aussie Dollar, just the shipping will make it harder for you.
