Post subject: WATER TO LYE OR LYE TO WATER

I've read two books on soap making & one says to add the water to the lye. The other says to add the lye to the water. Since this is my first time making soap I would like to know which is the safest method before I start.

Add lye to your water and then the lye water mixture is always added to the oil and not vice versa.
