If patchouli EO gets stronger over time in a bottle how does it do in CP over time? Does it last for years, morf, or fade???

I love Patch! I wouldn't say it gets stronger over time, but in soap it does last a long time. It also depends how much you use.

I bought some patchouli EO ( never soaped with before) from BB when the price came down last fall. What is your recomindation for it in CP PPO?

I would use 0.4 to 0.5 oz. per lb. of soap. Some people like it very strong and use a bit more.

Would it be ok to add a FO with Patchouli to fragrance a batch of CP? I wanted to try Patchouli with a Rosemary Mint FO that I have. Do I have to use certain ratios?

I'm just getting into EOs now and bought a small bottle of Patchouli to try out - loving it!! Can I ask if there are some simple blends people would recommend with it? I have a lot of citrus EOs, lavender, clary sage, spearmint and geranium.

Blood orange and Patchouli is great. Sweet orange is good with it too. The sweet orange can, surprisingly, kind of overpower it though, so I keep my usage low with that. That's in CP. Haven't tried it in MP.

Thanks Soapbuddy.. it kicks up other EOs that I don't (yet!) have but I'm sure I can tweak a little. Gonna do the cotton bud thing though so I don't waste any.
