Teach Soap

I want to make a mantra swirl and am wondering how to keep my swirl color/soap thinner. I know most people say to color their soaps right at thin trace (I already made a soap I thought was at thin trace and it wasn't, still using it but it's crumbly on one side and alright on the other) and pour the two, one on each side of a divided loaf pan. But how do you keep the accent color used for the swirl more liquid (as soap continues to thicken once it hits trace whether you stir or not) so I can pour it and swirl without it being a pudding consistancy? Is there a trick to make the swirl color easier to pour and work with?

SUPER light trace- seriously JUST past emulsification like she says in the tutorial. It helps if you do not discount your water. I read a tip somewhere that if it pudding's up on you, you can add a little more water and stir it up to get it more fluid and that helps too. Here was my attempt:

The oils and lye were just mixed, emulsified and very thin, but staying together.

Your yellow and blue soap is lovely too. The color contrast is first rate! What fragrance did you use with it?

Oh BB cold water, what a good choice! Soapbuddy I read that swirl quite a while ago and had forgotten all the grand info there. Thank you I did re read this eve, maybe this time more will stick!
