That soap is really cute. I too use Pink Sugar all the time and mine discolours even with Vanilla Stabilizer. Perhaps I didn't use enough of VS last time.

I can actually smell the Think Pink! I used to wear the Aquolina type fragrance all the time - people used to think I smelled like cookies lol

SueBre- I love those, the chocolate turquoise is gorgeous... those colors go very well together.

Ana Maria - Your soaps are beautiful! The soft colors look wonderful. I like how they match the box too!

Soapbuddy et al. -- I did use the BB VS. I use the same amount of equal millileters to the amount of fragrance I put in per layer of soap I did. I made the soap loaves at the end of December. I kept some full 4+ oz bars for Etsy (for now) and sent 22 (1.5 oz sample bars) off to one of those sampler/marketing venues so we'll see if I get any 'action' as they will start to be put in the boxes next week. I've found that the VS has done very well with the fragrances I have chosen maybe because I am generous with the VS?. So far the soap is still holding up!!

The only time it went 'south' was when I tried to make an eggnog latte and one layer turned a pinkinsh/brackish/brown like the next day! The eggnog had like 6% vanilla. So now I stay away from that amount. Funny though - I did 'rid' myself of those soaps at a fair because people were okay with how it looked (they loved the smell) and liked that there was coffee grinds in it - so you never know

I am quite new to this whole soap making thing. This is my second month of really experimenting. I woke up with this idea on Saturday morning and spent the rest of the day working on it. I must say I am quite proud at my latest accomplishment.

It is made of BB's Goat's Milk MP Base, The heart has BB's Moroccan Mint and Apricot Seeds, and the rest of the bar is made of BB's Coconut Lemongrass. It smells like summer and is oh so yummy!
