I want to make a 2 lb batch of soap and separate it into 1lb molds, to try different colors and fragrances. What is the best way to do this? Would it be disastrous to pour the soap into the molds, add fragrance then zap it with the stick blender to blend?

Are the molds exactly 1 lb. each? You could separate the soap batch after a light trace into 2 cups, add color/fragrance, then pour into the molds. You would have a hard time getting the fragrance incorporated if the soap is already in the mold.
