Teach Soap

I just received a bottle of BB Champagne fragrance oil. I thought it would be perfect for Valentines day...but I am undecided about it.

What do you guys think? Does it sell well? Leave as is or try to blend?

I only sell it during Valentine's. It's a slow seller for me the rest of the year.

My folks love wine so Im going to make gift baskets with ( berry wine , champane, and an FO blend I'll call sangrea.) I hope I spelled that last one right. I think the girls will love it Also I m planning to sell that in the summer/fall shows.

I like it but next time I will blend it with something maybe patchouli or push it's sweetness a little more. Not too sure so many choices which way to go with it.

Im thinking any fruit scent should go with it.

Do you think Champagne and Pineapple would work? Or are they both too sweet?

I have been selling straight Champagne for years--- it is one of my staples. I did change the name to "Frosty" over the holidays and I sold out! There seems to be peaks and valleys with it as far as sales go--- just like anything else . Seems like as soon as I don't keep my stock up, someone will call and want several bars..... never fails! Lilac is another one like that. BB's lilac soaps perfect for me and smells just like the lilacs on my bushes. Some people just love it and lot's don't like it at all. But as soon as I don't keep it in stock, someone asks for it. What a challenge trying to keep up with people's favs!

OOoh, mixing the champagne with a fruit sounds great because then you can market it as a Mimosa (w/ orange), or a Bellini (w/ peach). Find a recipe for a champagne cocktail and then make it into a soap. Sounds delish! And now I'm thirsty.

My new supplies came in and I also got a sample of the Champagne! I was thinking of mixing it with the Strawberry FO I ordered. I was wondering if I have to mix the FOs together first before adding to the base..or can I just add them to the base? I will be using a 1 cavity mold and it's small- 1.84oz.

I carry Champagne year round and it sells pretty well for me. I do like it as a blender, too.

thanks soapbuddy! being that the bar of soap is pretty small, I was hoping that I could just add them to the base. Since it's only going to require a few drops, I hope that after mixing them first that they don't "disappear" when I add them to the base, lol.
