I have a question. I'm going to try CPOP for the first time. I was wondering if I really need to keep my soap in the oven for 12 hours. I have an electric oven and it will probably be stone cold within an hour of turning it off after the 1 or 2 hours you have to have it on 170. Can I just transfer it to a blanket once the oven starts to really get cold and have it slowly cool that way? Or should I still leave it in the oven even though it doesn't have the heat from a pilot light like a gas oven?

Thanks,

Bayougirl

I take mine out as soon as it gels. You could cover it with a blanket so it cools off slowly.

Thanks soapbuddy, I appreciate the answer. I'll do the same. Have a good day.
