I understand that flashpoint effects shipping process.

What does flashpoint mean to soaping.

If the flashpoint of a FO or EO is 107 degrees then you can't soap it in a soap slurry that has a temp of 140 degrees?

If the flashpoint of a fragrance, or EO is 199 degrees then it is safe to include in any soap slurry whose temp is lower than 199?

Flash points aren't quite as critical for soap, but for candles. With that said, I find that fragrances with a lower flashpoint loose some of the top notes in hot processing as they evaporate. You can use an FO with a low flaspoint in soap, but not all the fragrance notes will come through. They tend to work better in cold process soaps that are not gelled.
