Is it possible to get single note FOs? I can only seem to find blends ... for example looking for a ginger fo but all I find is Ginger Orange, White Tea & Ginger etc

Do you have to go EO in order to get single notes?

You can get single notes. They are called aromatic chemicals. They are pretty pricey though. http://store.perfumersapprentice.com/ar ... icals.html

well that's not so bad considering they go further right? and how do you dilute them, cyclomethicone? I know that's used for perfumes, does it work to dilute absolutes & EOs that you will be using in soap and/or lotion?

i only do M&P so I don't add any other oils ....

although I suppose if I use Jojoba just to dilute the fragrance, that small amount really shouldn't affect the M&P base should it?
