I hate to ask dumb questions but having never bought salt or sugar scrubs myself) Are they used mostly for face and feet? Do salt scrubs hurt if you get it into your eyes and cuts? Then are sugar scrubs prefered?

Most would be too scrubby for the face. They are better for the rest of your body. I prefer sugar scrubs. Unlike salt which could sting if you have any cuts or scrapes. Salt would definitely sting if it got in your eyes.
