Hi, Dragonlady0627! Just curious about whether you did try adding SLS to your M&P soap? Did you add extra butters and oils to your soap base, is that why you wanted to add SLS to improve the lathering ability?

I add extra shea butter to my mp soaps, but learned the hard way not to add too much, just because of the lathering issues.

Would adding oils and butters be the only things to keep it from lathering? Or is there another reason for SLS?

Are we talking about the SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) being sold by BB? I know that it's a detergent but is there another ingredient you can use to increase lather/foaming in M&P soap or bath fizzies? :oops:
