I think each bar being a little different is one of the things that makes handmade soaps so unique. I am pretty sure that most sites I have seen have a note stating that because they are handmade each bar will be different.

Made some stuff for the holiday, and it's my first time sharing here. It so great to see everyone's stuff!

BathFairy - Those are all amazing! Great Job. I think the ribbon candy is my fave as well, but they are all very well done!

soapchick - Love yours as well! The drizzle on top is cute and purple is one of my fave colors!

Bramble Momma - I agree, I totally think the beauty of handcrafted is that you get an individual bar of soap every single time. Even if you cut from the same loaf, the first soap and the last are going to be totally different. If people want the same thing all the time, they can go to the regular store and buy it!!!

The ribbon soaps were pretty easy, actually. I found a mold somewhere a while ago. I've tried making it in single colors and folding it, sort of like a jelly roll. It just didn't come out to be a very substantial bar of soap, so I went with a more solid mold.

I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to make a mold, though. Spray a solid piece of ribbon candy with some glue to harden it and mold it with the flexy fast. In theory it sounds like it would work.

Soapchick - That's nice bit of CP too - did the Plumeria accelerate on you? I ask as its three layers and I worry about it accelrating?

ETA: oh, is it CP, just had another look at the bubbles on the top! I am thinking it is MP and if so it is great because it has that CP look about it
