Hi everyone, I'm new to the board and new to soaping! I actually started almost 3 weeks ago and I'm already addicted!!!! I just received my first Bramble Berry purchase yesterday and I am HOOKED!! I started out using Michael's products just to practice and to see if I enjoyed it before I purchased online and had to pay shipping, but now I'm so glad I did...and it's definitely worth the shipping prices!

bravely going to post some pics of what I have done so far, all which were done with the Michael's products before I got my package yesterday. You all are SO talented I feel silly posting but I would love feedback! My husband tells me everything I do is great so I can never really tell with him.
All of these pics were taken with my cell phone, so I know they aren't the best. We just got a new camera and I'm still trying to learn how to use it!!
This was the first soap I made, which I did all pink for my little sister. She was having a "Princess" graduation party that night.
I made these that night too...using the same mini bundt cake mold

For this soap, I hand carved the palmetto tree and moon with a kitchen knife (I have since discovered the Xacto knife -- MUCH better!) The South Carolina state flag is very popular here. There are several stores that sell t-shirts, car stickers, hats, etc. with the state flag on them...so I figured why not try it on soaps?! Obviously these were made with Micheal's supplies so my colors were bleeding, etc. Oh well, it was just practice!
