Hi all,

Venturing into bath bombs in those xmas balls instead of my usual ice cube trays and I am finding the balls got cracks (when I used witch hazel) and warts (not sure, cornstarch?). . my biggest concern is cracks along the seams. I am also getting flat bottoms even though I move them around quite a bit (but that is probably too much water, yes?)

I have been experimenting with recipes too. .

2 part baking soda
1 part citric
1
.5 part corn starch
.5 part fine sea salt

More warts with that mix but a lot less cracks.

Finally, I did try Magic Hands ewax idea at a 1 tbl plus 2 tbls almond oil. .. tub was dry afterwards BUT not much fizz.

Any suggestions?

Lisa

Sounds like too much water or witch hazel. You just need to lightly spritz with witch hazel, till the formula just adheres together.

let me try to figure out how much e-wax generally gets used. i think it might be a lower percentage. i'll look at other forums tonight and find some info if i can. :)
