Teach Soap

I was using some flower molds, and one of my yellow flower middles didnt stick upon unmolding, despite the spray of alcohol. frustration! i was trying to figure out a way to concoct a new yellow spot without redoing. I ended up melting a tiny bit, rolling in into a ball, and then shaping it onto the flower with a butter knife i was heating over the open flame on my gas stove(sounds like a recipe to blow up the kitchen?) I then also used it to round out the rough edges on the soap. it worked surprisingly well. don't know if ive stumbled onto a new trick or if this is a secret of all you fantastic soapers.

Glad you found something that works for you. I make fairly large batches of soap to sell, so this would be very time consuming for me.

I did a few M&P fun ones for shows, and I just used the heat gun that I shrink wrap with to "fix" a few dings....

that sounds like a great idea! i dont have one yet. i was considering the creme brulee torch
