I have read all I can about reed diffusers and like the soapbuddy way, I have tried them for myself, but my question is: If making these for a show and i don't sell them all...will they store well in the bottles that BB sells with the caps, how long can I keep them in storage?

Hi Soapbuddy and everyone. Ok, I thought these would work for my show, but after 24 hours, they weren't very strong. So I didn't take them to the show. I used the 8oz bottles from BB, but found that each one varried in internal size, so it was difficult to get an accurate equal mesurment of FO/DPG and Alcohol. I used 25% of dragonsblood and tried it again with 33% fo and split the rest between the DPG/Alcohol. Should I have used less DPG and less Alcohol? I made one before with Vanilla Select and it seemed to work fine for me at home, but I don't think they were strong enough to sell..any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? I know some say don't use Alcohol, but what do I use then?They seemed to take forever to wick up the reeds too. Today is 4 days and they wicked up but not strong at all unless you stand right next to them.

Any of the thicker, viscous oils are more difficult for the reeds to pick up.
