Teach Soap

I've been putting my soap on cooling racks to cure but ran out of room so moved them to boxes. How long do you let them sit on a rack? Also I have been putting them on the dinning room table, but my husband doesn't like the smell, any smells when it's first made. Where do you cure your soap? I could put it in the garage, but that gets pretty cold. I have a small closet that's warmer than the garage. I'm looking for all and any ideas. I'm trying to get an inventory going.

I turned a 5x7 walk-in closet in a spare bedroom into a curing room. I wish I could say all my soap was in there. It's al-l-l-l over the other spare bedroom too. I (meaning DH) need to add more racks in the curing closet. I live in a humid climate so I kept a pole mount fan just outside the open closet door to keep air circulating. I didn't lose any fragrance in the soap in there over the summer. Works for me although there are scents I wouldn't put in there. Patchouli is one.
