Teach Soap

I am trying to make a bar of soap with cut outs. Pour a thin layer of color1, then use a small cookie cutter to make a design, fill with color2, then remelt rest of color1 and pour for rest of bar.

Problem is that when I re-melt my colored soap the color changes from blue to green. How can I keep it blue? I am using Super Blue mica from BB, if that helps any.

Ultramarine Violet turns grey when exposed to heat. I read it but still had to find out the hard way. Batch of HP soap went from purple Lilac to grey Sandalwood Vanilla.

I'm sure there are others. I had some red mica that went orange on me in MP. Oh and then there was the surplus FO that made my pink soap orange.....

Always have a backup plan or recite after me: "That was how I planned it all along"!
