Moonfairy - WOW. Your soaps look so clear. Are you using -- Crystal Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base vs a Clear Glycerin Soap Base. I use SFIC and just put in an order (direct since I live so close and can physically pick it up). I've debated on getting the crystal clear but it sweats alot more I've noticed from a class I took where the crystal clear base was used but the 'clarity' is so nice. I'm concerned how it will hold up with me putting it in the cello bag.

I just put in my oder and I opted not to add the crystal clear but maybe I should consider changing my order and calling them.

I'm following up with 2Addicted and wondering how did you do that stained glass? Share only if you are comfortable.

Any feedback about the crystal clear would be great!

Thanks
Hilary

I am totally loving loaf soaps!

Lemon essential oil. Smells just like the lemon drop candy grandma kept!
It looks like swiss cheese. lol

Oh, and my ball mold broke after only my second use!

Peppermint essential oil.
My mica clumped in the one layer. :(

Robin, those are also beautiful soaps! My favorites are the lemon and lavendar. In the peppermint, it looks like that layer is supposed to be that way... probably more appealing to me than if it had turned out perfectly clear. And the eyeballs are so cute!

Hi everyone,

By way of a further introduction, I thought I would show you some of the soaps I have made lately :D

First of all, here's a pic of all the soaps I made last Saturday. I was at it all day!

Image

This one is green apple fragrance with poppy seeds and a layer of white on the bottom with added shea butter.

Image

This is a smaller soap with Blue Jeans fragrance and poppy seeds.

Image

Then I made this one... It took AGES!! Shea butter in the white.

Image

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fragrance - Jelly Bean. It has added shea butter and an additive called Lamesoft which enhances the skin's natural moisture layer. This effect was not really what I was after but I still like it!

Image

I think this is my favourite of the day. Swirls with white poppy seeds in the white. Fragrance is Moonflower.

Image

And, the final one of Saturday is a transparent purple scented with Oh! Zone and with a layer of sea salt on top.

Image

Now a few that I made a while ago but I didn't have any pics...

Calla Lily scented soap with shea and poppy seeds.

Image

A perfumed raspberry soap.

Image

A white soap with a little pink mountain on the bottom and dessicated coconut on top scented with a beautiful, creamy coconut and has plenty of shea in it.

Image

Finally, a soap scented with orange blossom fragrance. Colour is solely from the calendula petals in it.

Image

That's all folks. If you are still with me I am impressed ;)

Looking forward to hearing your opinions and I hope you enjoyed looking.

Kevin x

Wow, everybody, such great soaps! Thanks for posting your pics -- it's so fun to see what everyone is working on.

Kevie, I love the chunky raspberry soap!
