Teach Soap

The label I was using as my logo had been discontinued. Blah. I went in search of something similar and bought a few here and there but was unhappy with everything I found. I fell in love with a new cupcake (my logo is a cupcake) and I completely redesigned my whole web site and paper goods (business cards, note paper, etc) with the new cupcake. Unfortunately none of that solved my original problem. I found a cute sticker on Etsy. I emailed the woman and told her what I was looking for ... sent her links to the packaging I use and asked if she could come close to the colors and sent her a pic of my new logo and asked her to use that. She did an AMAZING job!! All my colors are perfect, my new logo labels are ADORABLE. I've re-ordered now a couple times. I'm now working with her to redesign some of my other labels to take them "off site" (no more printing by me) and have them look more professional. She's been a joy to work with and she is VERY reasonably priced. Thank you Erin. I'll check her out. I'm in a bit of a label depression! I've been printing them on Avery clear Matte, but they don't stick well, the size really isn't perfect, and my soaps have too many variables.

Speaking of variables... I make soap stones/rocks, which vary in weight and shape. Of course the fragrance also vary. May I ask if all of you put the fragrance on the label? If so, do you make a separate, smaller label with the fragrance named, or just let people decide by smell alone.

You need the name of the fragrance on your label somewhere. Can you make one general label, then a smaller label for the fragrance (in clear) and just add it on?

I can only answer for the EU, but you label your fragrance as "Parfum" and you must state any of the 26 named allergens (once over a certain level) on the label also. This is if you're selling to the EU at all (not yet applicable in the US).

I need to locate some really small labels to print off fragrances. I tried printing them on a larger label and cutting them, but it took me forever to separate the label from the backing.

Glad you wrote all in "CAPS" I feel your pain. I'm label challenged also, LOL!!!!!

ok thanks,i was yelling,im stressed!!!........i have been makeing 3" round 1" thick and also 3"1/4x3"1/4x1"thick i havent cut anything as of yet although i have made a lot of soap thanks for your reply this soap thing is cool i like it so much i slept with a soap ball last night i think i love my soap ball
