I'm savoring them, too. Other than the night I felt decadent soaping with 3, I've managed to refrain so I still have most of them to enjoy-y-y-y-y.

Wow, thanks for the compliment, Spotted Cat. I'm honored. Seriously. Especially to be in Mickey's good company because I love his soap. I've used it 4 times. Thrilled that you love the fo I soaped, too! Your dreamsickle bar is so beautiful I don't want to use it yet. DH sniffed it and said "This smells like your mango." I said, "Yep, but look how much prettier it is than mine!" It is one beautiful bar. Great size, shape and swirl and I adore the chic bag. I'll break down because I love mango but I want to enjoy looking at it a while longer. :D

I last showered with Petra's ( Beehive Alchemy's) cardamom bar. Enjoyed the sweetness of the orange with Vetiver's smoky note even more in the shower than I did sniffing it. Exotic, alluring, enticing. Carries me off to far away places. I think this must have been a Sultan's harem favorite blend of fragrances. Or the Sultan's. Or I day dreamed that in the shower. It's inspired me to try HP in my regular log molds instead of the ones I've been using. It's a very hard bar, which I love. I see this one lasting for a while. Nice lather too, but the hallmarks for me are the exotic blend of eo's, the size and firmness. Beautiful top, too.

Thanks, Petra!

Thanks all for the nice comments on my funnel swirl. Each and everyone one of you guys have taught me a few things that I can do differently in my soapmaking, I really, really appreciate it. I can't thank you all enough.

Thanks again for the labels Karen S. I figured out how to print the OL800 along with another size on http://www.onlinelabels.com/
using their Maestro label designer. It's an easy program. No more printing, cutting and glue sticking! Hurrah!

I took a long, hot shower last night, enjoyed Quinae's shaving bar again, finished up Leslie's wonderful tart Lemon Meringue Pie and used Redfishingirl's Happy Face Bar on my face. It's a hard bar yet uber creamy. So very creamy and moisturizing. Love the light lemongrass and that the lavender doesn't have that camphorus top note that I don't care for. It's lovely. Not sure that I can refrain from bathing all over with this bar. :)

I just got out of the shower and I smell pretty! I just love your soap JustKate...the smell and OH the bubbles. I almost thought about rinsing and repeating:-)

RedFishGirl, the face soap smells great and refreshing. Your bar looks so pretty and sophisticated

This has been SO much fun trying everyone's soaps. They are all so unique and fabulous. Can't wait to get through a couple more bars tomorrow. Although with DH out of town, my showers aren't as long as normal. Got so much work to do. Guess I don't realize how much he helps out around here.

My smeller is broken due to a cold, but I've enjoyed the Rosie Cheeks bar (on my whole self!) and I can tell it is a super-gentle bar. I *may* get up the courage to try it on my ultra-sensitive face...I gotta gear up for it though. I've tested on my before and I'm a little gun shy. But, it felt great EVERYWHERE else! :D The scent was light, as far as I can tell....tee hee...I may have to try it again after I can breathe again!

I also have used Pampered Pantry's bar. Ahhhh, bliss! Your customers must love you. When I was feeling ultra-sick I used this bar because I *knew* from using the Spearmint bar from the July swap I'd be a-ok. You know when you're so sick, even your skin hurts? Yah...that was me. :D

More later, I have sucessfully given the kids my cold too....:(

Vinca so sorry you have been so sick! I feel your pain, have had the flu for the last several days and finally starting to feel human again. Thanks for the nice compliments on the soap - I do love this scent and seems to be working well in the fall line up.

So far I have only used 2 of the soaps, but now that I'm coming back to life I will get on it and deliver some feedback.

I have used JustKate's bar - LOVE this soap and I have been in LOVE with that scent from SGS. I'm about out and need to get more, 'cause now I gotta make some lotion to go with the soap. I already made some perfume oil of the same scent. Love the creamy lather, makes my skin feel so good and I smell divine all day long!!

I have also used Quineae's Shave bar - I hadn't used a shaving soap before, I too have the dreaded razor rash trouble. But I do believe that this bar may solve that problem, Yippee!! Loving it so far.

Ok more to come, need a couple more showers and find places to hide the soap - Hubby has an issue with so many bars in the shower. I just told him it was my lab, he's not buyin' it so far :)

Gingerbread Latte!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! This is a great bar... the smell is fabulous in the morning. The brown sugar on top was a little goopy at first until I realized what it was ;) Just sugar! The swirl is dreamy- before I used it I just wanted to look at it all day!! Love this one!!

Happy face soap! Is that the palm kernal that makes it so smooth and hard? I've never used palm kernal and have never gotten a texture like this? I am really digging the lav and lemongrass... I have a hard time with using too much lemongrass in a blend, but you got it just right.

Vervaine Olive BLossom- haven't used yet but the smell is awesome! I'm sitting here smelling it right now!

Kim's Cucumber Melon- I love the bar size and that it is square.

Lemon Meringue Pie - It looks just like a lemon square and that is my favorite dessert! Mmmmmm...;) What does beetroot powder do for soap? I've never used it before. Just wondering if it's another thing to add to my to try list!

Chai Flower - WOW! My BF is always complaining that my bars are too small... so guess which one he grabbed?!?! Great bar, great fragrance and I love your label.

And the two shrink wrapped rounds! I have not tried shrink yet, but they look so awesome, I just ordered some!

Rena Soap - I haven't used yet, but what a cute chunky bar! And I love the crinkle cut!

Everyone did a great job!

Well, I am whining. I have already worked 3 14 hour days this week, in addition to 10 on Monday, so already 42 hours plus I work 10 on Friday and 10 on Saturday. . . its a long week. All I could think about was coming home to a bath tonight at nearly midnight.

My recents

Just Kate Vervaine: Bubble are fantastic and the soap feels great-- very similar to Spotted Cat--and the smell is fantastic because I hear everyone is buying it. So nice in the morning cause I am seriously dragging right now.

Vinca- I am a believer. I have all these bumps on my big, fat, overworked (typing) arms and your soap took them right off. I feel so exfoliated yet not dry. Love it, love it, love it. I wish you could do a face one because I think that would really work for me!

Tonight I am going for the gingerbread latte and fall harvest because I am so tired I just want to be enveloped in comfortable smells, food smells, and flannel pjs (and it is 70 degrees here in LA)

Thanks everyone. I think I would have had a melt down the past couple of weeks but your soaps gave me something to look forward to!

OMG! I wouldn't normally jump out of the tub for y'all but have to update:

Pampered's Fall Harvest: I felt CLEAN after your soap. Perfectly clean. Nice scent, good bubbles but I craved feeling clean but not dry and you delivered. Thank you! It just felt perfect. Not too much of anythng so wonderfully balanced with a med scent, good bubbles, a good clean and not feeling dry.

Gingerbread Latte: Pure heaven like a Saturday where you drop everyone off in the family, get your Starbucks gingerbread latte, and go home to spend 3 hours reading by yourself. WOW! I still can smell the coffee on me which I usually can't do after soaping with any scent in homemade soap. OMG. This is better than s-=x. Sorry, but it is! Love the scent. Can't figure out the slight curdling--did you use Titanijm Dioxide. You could make a totally naked soap using this scent and I would buy it by the log. Holy cow! I could use this all day given I am a coffee addict. Not even putting on lotion because I am going to need the coffee smell in 5 hours to get my rear out of bed. I may give up starbucks for this soap.

THANK YOU ALL!

Vinca...
Are you willing to share what % of salt you used in your salt bar? I think the texture is perfect and I have never tried making a salt bar.

Mickey...I used 75% PPO salt. I think the reason why this bar worked so well is because I soaped really cool, and waited as long as possible to put the salt in the lye/water solution...so it didn't have time to dissolve, kwim? And the little salt crystals are like, sparkly! :D
