The scent is mango raspberry ice.

Hi all, I am new here but here are a few of my soaps. I am nowhere as good as you guys are, I'm sorry to say.

I hope to get over this bug soon so I can soap more!

My first shot at this concept. The 'sand' is ground loofah. sorry the pic is so bad, my camera was AWOL and I used my web cam for the pic.

Hi all,
I'm new to this and sooooooooooo inspired by your works of art. Hmmm...yes, works of art as I see a VanGoah in here. Maybe get in touch with the VanGoah Museum in Amsterdam and sell them to tourist???

Thanks to each and everyone one of you for sharing and inspiring. I'm just working on the basics but hopefully will be making works of art soon.

I was lucky enough to got to the Van Gogh museum at the 100th anniversary of poor Vincent's death! I got to see most, if not all of his works.

I'm almost embarrassed to post these as they are very plain and no where near as good as any of yours!!
About a year ago I was browsing in Michaels and came across the Soapmaking 101 kit and thought I'd give it a try. I was only able to make a few bars before I had to quit due to budget problems.
But now I'm able to start again and I can't wait to get in the Gingerbread Man kit that I ordered, and speaking of that kit has anyone esle bought it, and do you know about how many "bars" it will make?

So anyways here are my very first bars.... (the a href isnt posting the pics for some reason so have to go with links.....)

the Michaels kit had nothing about bleeding and not pouring too hot so those were my two main probs with my checkered bar, also I didn't know about the trick Anne-Marie talked about on her Soap Queen TV where you put a little clear soap at the bottom, but now I do!!! If you hold the bar up to the light the orange has a ring of green around it from the bleeding
