My sweetie gave me a hand this am and we got everything organized and packed up. So...the boxes are packed, the USPS pickup is scheduled for tomorrow and tonight, I get to play with my soaps! Here's a quick preview of what the boxes look like packed up and a little (literally) preview of the soaps. I'm not going to post individual photos of each soap because my camera is a tad challenged today and you'll will want the surprise for yourself!

I got mine! I got mine! That was fast! Oh my, they're all so beautiful and smell so good! It's Christmas in October! I'm in awe of the packaging. I'm label and packaging challenged. I figured that Happy Face bag was Redfishingirls. :D It's so-o-o clever.

Spotted Cat your soap is the perfect color. It looks just like a dreamsickle. Elegant lil bag too. Amanda, I love the name "Rosie Cheeks." Saucy and catchy. Nice packaging too. Mickey and Fatland, thanks for including a note about yourselves. I enjoyed reading those, along with getting your wonderful soaps. Those are first up, 'cause I need to shave my legs and I can't wait to try a watermelon exfoliating bar!

Petra, (Beehive Alchemy) your cardamon bar smells alluring. Wonderful, deep, rich scent. I love the sweetness of the orange with the smokiness of the vetiver. Never would have thought of those together.

Pamper Pantry, the Autumn Harvest is terrific. Perfect for this time of year!

Lisa Johnson, love the look of your red palm oil soap and of course I want to know how you made that flower! It's so fun to see all the different textures and colors of the various soaps from CP to CPOP to HP. And Vinca Leaf, thank you for making a salt bar, 'cause I've never tried one!

Nice funnel swirls and labels, Rena. And Squeaky Clean the gingerbread latte smells delish. Yum. :D
Leslie, the lemon meringue smells good enough to eat. I like the way you frosted it. Kim, how unique that you used rainwater to make yours. Very cool!

Karen thank you for your lovely soap, for hosting and for the labels. That was a nice gesture. Now I need to figure out how to print on them!

MeToo!!! Me Tooo!! I got it... They all smell so wonderful, I have needed to take a shower ALL morning and was thinking (hoping) that the soaps would come today and THEY DID!!!! and you are right, It is like Christmas in October, I am so excited, I was waiting for the school bus on my front porch when the mail man arrived, I saw my box and had to tell my postal carrier why i was so excited, she could smell the soaps through the box! then my neighbor from across the street came over to see what all the commotion was about, so i brought him in with me and we opened the box together, he loved them as well. The only bad thing about all of this is that my shower caddy is NOT big enough! lol... i like to go from soap to soap to soap to.... oh well... you get it!

Karen, Thank you so much for this experience, I cant wait to try them all and tell you guys how much i love them.

Blessings to all.

My boxed arrived today and I opened on my lunch break - only had time enough to sniff everything!

Can't wait to dive in and start soaping up.

Last swap I cut a piece from each bar and was able to use a different one every morning - looks like I have two weeks of fun coming up!

Thanks Karen for hosting and to everyone for participating. Looking forward to the comments about the soaps and personally 'testing' each one!

Woo Hoo!
Work is done and I can finally sit and enjoy the soaps I got today. There will be at least one shower before bedtime.

As I said in the other thread I don't know how anyone can pick which one to use first but I guess there HAS to be one soooooo....
I think I just have to try Vinca's salt bar since I've never tried one and I really love the Cool Water scent. Your quote on the back appeals to me also. I won't say why just yet though.

My SO has just informed me that Spotted Cat's Mango Dreamsicle belongs to him (but I'm going to cut a chunk off for me). What a sophisticated (and easy) way to package them.

I have 4 soap dishes in my shower so the rest of these will soon follow. They are all wonderful and beautifully presented. And I will have more to say about the others as I go through them.

JustKate you made me very happy to hear that you want to try my watermelon bar. Please let me know how you like it.
You have all given me some great ideas for things to try and I hope I have done the same for you. I am anxious to receive any feedback you may have to offer and if you have something bad to say and want to PM me that's fine too. I'm open to criticism and ideas. That's how we learn.

So thanks again Karen for hosting.
I seem to gravitate toward exfoliating bars so your "By The Sea Scrubby" bar will be up next. As you see I do round bars too but I don't have your patience to bevel them. Nice job!

I got mine too! I am so excited! They all look and smell so good! I especially love the different colors everyone chose. I am also having a hard time deciding which one to use first. I wonder if I'll have time for fourteen showers today?

Karen, thank you so much for hosting this. This is my first one and it"s awesome!

Got mine too... :D
I had to work late last night, so I haven't had a chance to dig into them all completely. I will say that my boyfriend has already used one in the shower. Now I just need to figure out which one that is.

I will admit that the house smelled great with all the different smells from the different soaps. I thonk everyone did a great job! That goes for our hostess as well! Thanks!

Okay, So.............

After spending the afternoon in the Laboratory (ie... shower) doing extensive very difficult preliminary research (someone's got to do it) The bars that i chose to start with were Vinca's Salt Bar, FatLands Shaving Soap and Kim's Cucumber Melon.

First and foremost ALL of the soaps look and smell awesome, I am honored to have been apart of this with all of you and I thank you for sharing.

Vinca - your salt bar is perfectly scented for my taste, the salt bar was exfoliating but not scratchy. the look is lovely and it lathers so much. - I would love the recipe for that bar, i have tried (and failed) and making my own salt bar.

FatLand - Your shaving bar was like holding a stick of butter that lathers, I really enjoyed using it, super ultra smooth. I shaved my legs with it and it worked! No nicks! and by the way.... LOVE the name.

Kim - My 10 year old chose yours as one of the first bars for me to try, the smell is wonderful, i would love to know what combinations of FO / EO you used to cut the floral scent of the cucumber melon, its usually too strong for me but yours was perfectly scented. felt great on the body and left me feeling squeaky clean when i was finished.

I am going to take the suggestions of others and cut the bars, so that i can get to more of them FASTER! I had all the soaps out on my bed with a note pad, and when my husband came home from work last night, the first thing that he did was look for the new soaps! he ran upstairs and spent 10 min. with me enjoying all of your soaps.

From our family to yours,

Thank you!

~ Leslie

I got my box. . . .would it be a "bad" thing to call in sick today so I could bathe all day?

I only had time for a quick look and was so impressed with all the different soaps. Each one is unique and special. . .. THIS IS SO FUN!

Thanks everyone for participating and thanks Karen for hosting. . .
