Teach Soap

Anybody ever try this? I make quite a bit with GM but never tried soy. It's supposed to have rejuvenating properties for the skin and even out skin tones. Please let me know if you've tried this and how it works. Any hints or suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Lye will take most of the therapeutic properties of soy milk. It is a nice additive though. For soap, I would recommend mixing your lye with the least amount of water, then adding the soy milk at a light trace.

As far as "rapid hydration and cell regeneration", I'll leave that to the big companies that make OTC products. As soon as you make any type of a claim, whether soap or bath & body product, it becomes an over the counter (OTC) drug and requires extensive and expensive testing that is beyond the reach of most homecrafters.

Thanks soapbuddy. I know better than to make claims.....dangerous territory to say the least. I'll try it the way you suggested and see what happens. I'll keep ya posted.

I have used powdered soy milk in cp and find it very nice much like gm in soap . Good milk for vegan soap .
