 Post subject: Cutting Soap

My question is: When is the earliest you have cut your soap after you have poured it? I try to wait eighteen to twenty- four hours, but it's soooooo hard to be patient :D

If it gels, you can usually cut it after it cools off. If it didn't gel, at least a day.

That's just what I was hoping! This morning I made a batch scented with BB Berrywine and it smells AMAZING! i divided the soap and colored some with BB Rio Rose and some with TD. I layered it then swirled it. The Rio Rose makes the prettiest color. I wish I wasn't such a moron with computers so I could post pics. Learning to do that is one of the many things on my to do list. Anyway, thanks for such a quick answer.

I usually follow soapbuddy's advice and do the same thing. Only exception is salt bars; I cut those while still pretty warm or I can't cut them w/o crumbling them.
