So I love to make hot process soap but wanted to try my hand at cpop to get a more desirable swirl. What a disaster...I made two batches, each a diffrent recipe thinking maybe I did something wrong in the first batch. They go in the oven at 190 for 1.5 hours, stay in the oven over night, when taken out they are super soft...I can stick my finger through it. I tried putting it in the freezer to see if maybe this would help to harden it up, no luck. What am I doing wrong? :x I am getting to frustrated and it's costing my quite a bit in fo!! Nicki Here's a youtube video of what happened... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZZFu2E8GkA

I think philly is right , not enough hard oils .Some PO or OO or PKO would harden a batch up . The scent is good , so I would rebatch it and see if will harden up for you . I don't know for sure if that will do the trick , but it is worth a try to save your oils and your FO .
Sorry this happened to your soap

Are these recipes that you've used sucessfully in the past without CPOP? I use the oven to force gel for all my soap, and it's never soft the next morning. Strange.
