This is a new package I am working on .IRL the tag on the back will be my business card with ingredient label on the back of it .

I thought it looked very professional. Packaging is important, and often sells the product, otherwise, the big manufactures wouldn't go to so much trouble. Your presentation is excellent.

If I'm seeing this correctly - you have a bag (with stripes) with a see through window to see your beautiful swirled soap. Is your soap already shrinkwrapped or covered? I can't tell. I love the "idea" of your bag/window however (you did ask for feedback ) - I'm not hip on the stripes. I think it takes away from the soap. I'd like to see your soap pop through and I feel like it's getting lost. so I'm not sure if your bag is a prototype (so we should look past the pattern) or if you did really want that striped pattern. Or if you plan to use different paper with different soaps?

I'm no expert on packaging - I'm still struggling with my cello bag choice for packaging. I do agree that packging is a key component but there also is a balance to how much time you need to spend manufacturing the packaging and how the price relates. Although once you do get your design down I know efficiencies do kick in.

I like the ribbon as an added touch.

Thank you guys , I appreciate the feedback very much . I know the stripes don't work ( what was I thinking ) but used it just for the idea . I am still working on it , will post another pic when I get my prototype fixed up ..

What about some Kraft type brown paper/card for the bags? That keeps the look simple and makes it look more natural and won't take from your soap (I agree with that point). I wondered if you had to ship these, would the bags get all crumpled up? Am I right in thinking you're making these by hand? If so, why not get a box template and make a kraft box that fits the soaps perfectly - you could label the back with the ingredients and the front with the name of your company/soap and still include a cut out effect. Also it would help protect the soap for shipping.
