Love the names, a real inspiration!!

We went through all the usual soap/water/bath type names and couldn't find anything we liked. We live on top of a hill in the middle of a windfarm , yes really, so the name was all around us and felt right from the start!!

Mine is Oasis Soap. Due to my involvement with Arabian horses, I have traveled to the middle east, particularly Egypt, many times. The connection with the desert, and my "desert horses" gave Oasis a special meaning. It also denotes a peaceful place for cool water and rest, in the midst of sweltering heat and stress. If you've ever been in a middle eastern desert, you know how stressful that can be! You need a place to relax and bathe, and an Oasis is a welcomed sight. I have the website, oasissoap.com. I also think/hope it is easy to remember, as name recognition is of paramount importance.

Barbara and Robin, I think it's cool that your names come from your love of animals. I can't imagine life without them.
Mine was just a thought that came into my head when I started learning about soap making. After using wonderful soap made by my cousin Pat, and seeing a demo of making a swirl soap, I wanted to do it. I started looking at soap websites all the time. I loved the thought of playing with stuff like cocoa, mango, avocado butters...Visions of a big profusion of all the delicious fruity, flowery, nutty, earthy oils, fragrances and colors. Like a wild ambrosia. So I started making soap and called it Wild Ambrosia. I think it has a lot of happy positive energy. And now it's all over my house. I love that!

wow those are great stories to read on everyone's name. I'm not selling yet but still wanted to affix a name for what I make. I wasn't sure what my niche or core products would be so I went with general names. The first name I went with I checked if an existing domain was present and sure enough it was so I dropped that idea.
I made a list of words that came to mind when it came to what I wanted to do and then walked away from the list. Honestly, I think the best ideas come when they just spring up on you and when you're at your most relaxed moment. In my case, the shower
Hence the name, Brooklyn Bath popped into my head...I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY and the idea to create all of this started while I was still living there. I was really surprised that the domain name was available considering it is a pretty basic name -
