Location: Anaheim and Torrance, CA
Now that you've all helped with scents for shiny black soap, I was asked to make orange soap for the Ducks as well. I haven't had a lot of luck with orange scents. What would the forum suggest for a scent to go with orange soap--can't use pumpkin or spicy because I am cpop'ing. I haven't used BB's energy but not sure how it sticks in CP.

Please advise!

Energy would be my suggestion. It's a great fruity/citrusy blend, strong, and it sticks like crazy. Easy to soap with, too! :)

I would either use 5X orange or Energy as well.

Oooh, I just made some bars with Energy (and also some Sweetgrass) and it smells SO good. My kids loved it. Very fresh but my DD said it smelled like candy.

Uh oh. . just realized energy has a very low flashpoint and I need to CPOP these orange soaps. . .. so has anyone cpop'd energy and it turned out okay?

I believe Rise and Shine sticks a bit better.... it is very close in scent as well. :D

Rise and Shine always faded for me, I swear. But Energy sticks through CPOP like a champ in my soaps. I have a bar that's a couple of years old that's still strongly scented.
