I got my order Monday afternoon and of course had to tear into the box right away. One of the bases I got was the LCP. I had never worked with it before so I didn't really know what to expect. Well I colored it with one of the colors out of my mica sampler pack and use sandlewood vanilla and I LOVE it!! I used it in the shower last night and couldn't stop smelling myself when I got out

It had a wonderful rich creamy lather and was super moisturizing. I didn't even have to use lotion when I got out. If you haven't tried this base you should put it on your list to try!!

Thanks for the shout out on the base. I really like using the base for molded soaps and the regular house brand for loaves that need to be cut. It also lasts longer in the shower because it has less glycerin and water content than the regular house base.

I only use LCP because it is SO humid where I am. Yesterday at 9am it was 89 degrees and 90% humidity. I LOVE it (The soap, not the heat).

Yuck (the humidity). I'm in Oklahoma and we definitely fight it here too. I am completely in love with this base. I know it probably sounds ridiculous, but I can't wait to order more of it. I only ordered 1 lb and now I'm kicking myself!! Oh well, I guess I'll have to play with the honey base and hemp base tonight.

what is LCP base. I looked on Brambl;eberry but could not decide what it is. i know it might sound silly but I really appreciate the assistance. thanks

I believe it stands for Like Cold Process... and I also believes it sweats less (glycerine dew) so its better for humid cliamates. HTH.

Ohh i wish i could try this, but were only allowed to use EU grade ingredients in the UK. It's soo not fair as there's loads i'd love to try.

What colorants work best with this? I usually use the liquid non bleeding colors in my M&P so I hoping I could use it in this as well.
