Can i use microwavable ziploc tupper ware as a mold? I cant wait any further for my order of loaf mold and i have a mini loaf looking microwavable ziploc tupper ware and i just need you guys approval if this is okay to use. This is going to be my soaping day! My first soaping day ever and i cant wait to get home from work to start! As i have mentioned i am a newbie. I will attempt to make a mini loaf if the above container is acceptable and also some embeding in my BB individual soap molds.

i used a throw away microwavable glad tupperware once. turned out fine. so sure, you can use that..

I would think so. Just don't overheat the soap.

Do you think it will be easy to release it from the microwave tupperwear. I will not heat it in the tupperwear but i will be using the tupperwear as a mold.

It should release fairly easy. You can put the container in the fridge if need be.

I have used a tupperware container a couple of times with very easy release of the soap both times. Have fun!

It'll be fine. Best thing to do is experiment - you'll learn more from that than from anything.

i used a tossable ziplock storage container for a loaf mold, worked GREAT! just flex the sides a bit before you turn it over, then gently press the bottom to release and its great!!! ..........although the bottom of the soap said ZIPLOCK hehehehe it was no biggie since it was just for us to use

I have used them as well and they work great. Just make sure you keep it set aside as a 'soap only' container and don't use it for food anymore. =)
