yep yep - oil soluble td for me too. Just purchased 2lbs of it from canwax.
I've seen the frothers down at kitchenstuff, of course not as cool as soapbuddy's, still they are frothers

btw, has anyone tried select shades colors - the claim is that you need very little and 4 oz will color 98 lbs of soap....
considering costs of ultramarines, anyone has any experience with them?

Please tell me more about the shades colours you mention - I ordered my ultramarines from New Zealand so you can well imagine how much the parcel cost by the time 2 small containers arrived here in South Africa. If I can get something wich goes much further as you mention, I would really like to order that instead.

Select Shades are FD&C & D&C based colors. I believe there are some Aussie suppliers that carry these color (under a different name) as well.

How can we find out about these colours?
I order from a place in New Zealand called 'Aromatics and More' - that's where I get my Ultramarines and Titanium Dioxide from. Maybe I could ask them.
What does FD&C & D&C based stand for?

I agree with soapbuddy - I'd use the labcolors from brambleberry long before the select shades from tradewinds. They're the same basic product, but brambleberry's customer service and product quality is miles and miles ahead.

I am confused over NDAs labcolors. BB also has labcolors, and theirs are neatly sorted in pH categories, whilst NDA aren't, so I am not sure which ones are safe and stable for CP

Looks like BB has a wider selection though

I've used both water soluble and oil soluble TD and find it hard to work with so try to avoid it as much as possible or use very little of it when I do use it.

Hey everyone
So I used TD for the first time last night. Today there are crumbly powdery spots of white on the ends of my soap. After reading all these posts I see that there is a process of using TD. Could someone please share some instructions on how to properly use TD. Thank you so much
